Reviews
The show was absolutely amazing. Before Coldplay came on, the wind was blowing pretty hard but it soon gave way to a pretty hard rainfall (for Denver), and it was really really COLD. The audience was really into the show and it didn't matter that we were all soaked from head to toe and completely frozen. Chris adlibed quite a bit about the rain and during one song even added in Tina Turner's "I can't stand the rain..." Chris seemed very grateful to the audience for being out in the cold and rain.
At the beginning of the second encore Chris even noted something to the extent that they "normally don't do this (a second encore)," but that they felt that the crowd was so great we deserved a little more. Chris even thanked everyone for making it one of the best shows the band has ever performed. Chris was full of energy and heart, and hearing their cover on "Lips Like Sugar" was a definate treat! "Life Is For Living" was a GREAT closer!
The show was absolutely worth the standing in the cold for such a great show from the guys. They really got going after AROBTTH.
~Chris
