This show was something I'd been looking forward to even before I knew they'd come to SLC, and the wait was worth everything I went through (and still... I'm VERY sick!). Me and my friend were the first ones to get to the venue, we got there at around 11:30am!! and it was quite an experience... we froze our butt off to the point we could hardly walk, they said they'd let us in at 6:00pm but they had some problems with the "will call" and so they let us in til 6:30pm, and then about an hr later, the Opening band (Ron Sexsmith) came out, and they were ok, but not that great! they only played for half an hr. and we had to wait an other 45 mins til Coldplay came out! but it went by quickly since it was kinda entertaining to watch them set everything up and check sound and all those things they do...
Coldplay kame out and started roking to Politik!! (get my spelling now?)... From the first notes of the song Chris was already jumping and making us move (or me at least..) I think I was the only one jumping and singing allong from my row, but I didn't kare it was just too good to stand there and watch! I was feeling it!!!!! I mean those drums that felt like they were bouncing in your body and the lights going all krazi when the khorous started and Chris jumping and dancing all around, there was no way I could stay still!
The songs they played were as follows:

They had like 4 Tv's kinda thing that made it look pretty gooshy! from where I was standing I kould see Chris, Guy and Will perfectly, but I kould hardly see Johnny so I didn't get many piks of him!!! Will and Johnny were kinda just standing there playing the guitar/bass, I think it would have been more interesting if Johnny would have gotten as krazi as Chris did haha
Trouble was such a beautiful song to hear live, it almost made me cry! it was so awesome.
Everything's Not Lost was so fun when they played it, Chris was making us all sing allong to the last lines "Ohh ohh yeah, everything's not lost!!!" then he would change the lyrics and it was hilarious, he raised his hands and sang: "When the world's all fucked up! think everything's not lost!"
I was really surprised to see they played at least one b-side in this kase One I love, it rocked... mind you I kould only sing along to the khorous... didn't really know the lyrics.
After playing Warning Sign he said something like "now we're gonna play our new song, even if you don't want to...", it was really kool I liked it! and then at the end he just said "thanks for listening to that:)"
During Yellow EVERYONE was singing and it just made me feel like I was high (I bet more than one thought so too!) When they played The Scientist he said it'd be the last song, but they came back with Clocks.
In My Place - During this song Chris starting going all around the stage dancing and jumping and yelling and singing and as he kame near me, I remembered I had Meaghan's drawing of him in my poket (Twisted Lemon for you!) so I took it out, unfold it and raised it for him to see, he saw it raised his eyebrow and smiled:) haha it was so cool, then towards the end of the song the sekurity guard grabed the drawing from my hand and put it on the stage!!! but bah Chris didn't see it... he asked me if I wanted it back I said no, then they said bye and left... but kame back to play one last song!!! I was hoping he would turn around and see the drawing but since he only played the piano he kouldn't see it!:( then the guard asked me once again if I really didn't want it back and I said "no, but are they gonna pick it up?" and he just said "I don't know..." so then he took it" and said "I'll give it to him"!
I walked over to see the other girls and told them what just happened then he guy was looking for me and I started calling him cus I was on the other side now so then he saw me and said "he said "thankyou"" OMG!!! everyone started hugging me and asking me if I'd done the drawing and I kept going like "no, no its my friend's!" it was really cool!!! I hope he did get it...
The show lasted about 1.30 but I think they had enough material to play for 2 hrs, mind you I shouldn't complain since they rocked and gave us a 100% in every song, they were awesome and I can really say this was the coolest experience of my life!! and if it hadn't been for the cold I wouldn't think twice about doing it again!!!
