I have to tell you, guys, something. There was no one around to take our picture with Jonny because everyone else was surrounding Chris, Will and Guy so Jonny took the came off my hands and gave it to a white-haired sir. This sir asked me if the pic was ok, if another one was necessary and I thanked him, saying it was perfect. Then suddenly, I realized it was Chris's father. I asked him if I was right and he said: oh, yeah! How do you know that? No one ever notices me! I can come and go without being noticed! (awwwww!) I answered him saying he looked like Chris and he said: oh, I must be very good looking then! ( ) and I smiled at him confirming it. Then he asked me if I enjoyed the concert then night before and I said: Yeah, of course. You son makes some amazing music, you must be very proud of him (detail: at this very point, people were running and screaming like crazy to get autographs and pics and I got totally stuck talking to him). He said he was and he asked me for how long have I been a Coldplay fan. I said for 6 years and he replied: It's really good to have you as my kid's fan. Really, I could have died in peace at that moment. How absolutely fantastic is that? Then I said it was a pleasure to meet him and he said the pleasure was all his and wished me good luck! Awwwwwwwwwwww!

I simply had to share this, guys. My heart can't stand so much love for Chris's father from now on.

I bet you never get wet in Sao Paulo´s rain

Do you have a dream? Any silly one… That kind that you know that probably wont happen, but keep wishing anyway. I had a dream like that. Going to a Coldplay concert.

They don’t come to Latin America too often, and when they do, the tickets are always very expensive and the gigs are in cities far away from mine. And I don’t have lots of money, so… But I always wished for it to happen. The first time they came to Brazil, in 2003 I listened to Clocks for the first time and became a fan. Back in 2007, when I heard about the concert I was thrilled. So, so happy just because they were a little closer. And I did everything I could, but it wasn’t possible. And I kept thinking maybe next time… maybe next time.

So I want you to read this review not as a concert review, but as a dream coming true. For some people, college is a dream coming true, or a house, or being successful in their careers. Going to this gig was one of my dreams (and right now I´m going back home to go to college which is dream nº2). Now I feel like I can have it all. I´m inspired. Like I said in the flag I delivered to them (you´ll know about it later) they inspire people.

Now, back to what you really wanna know: I went to Sao Paulo on Sunday, and I was following the updates from Rio´s gig, some friends of mine were there and they called me saying how awesome it was… I almost died of anticipation, and I couldn’t sleep. On Monday we wandered around the city a little, then we went to the hotel I arrived at the hotel @ 1pm and the boys arrived @ 6pm. The went straight to the garage, so we didnt even saw them. But I saw Phill (I was the only one there that knew who he were) and he waved me. (pics in the link below) We waited more, and then @ 8pm Chris went out and he signed my Live 2003. A fiend took a pic of him signing it. The other boys went out with him (by the garage, in another car) and we decided to wait till them get back. I saw Franksy and Dan and they were just so cute! they said that everyone was out for the dinner and that since it was really cold and late, we should go home. Than I said “but I dont care about the cold!” and Franky said "But we care about you guy!” The an enployee of the hotel said to us that there was another exit on the other block, and we were running from one to another at every big black car that we saw.

Just when we were getting back to the main entrance of their hotel, I saw Phill and his wife and two other people and we all (about 5 people) took pics with him and he was vere lovely. AND BEAUTIFUL!! so, so much!! I cant even describe! I explained to him about my flag, and I asked if there were a way to deliver it to the boys and he said. "I can do it" I said that I was going to be on the pit and he said, “oh, that makes it easy. Where exactly?” then I said right in front of Guy and he gave me this exact smile --> like he was thinking, "obviously" and then he said "I´ll find you.” HE´LL FIND ME!! AND GIVE MY FLAG TO THE BAND! Then we left, because he said that the band wasnt arriving sooner, but we missed the bus and decided to get back, and just when we got there, Chris arrived. it was just a few people, so he took pics with all of us but he was really, really tired...

We left the hotel, took a shower and went straight to the line. It was 4am and there were 20 people there already But we would be in the front f the pit, that was the most important. So, everyone started to sign my flag, then they invited me to be on the interview that was been made for TV, and I showed the flag there. In the line I met a lot of die-hard fans, an they were so great! all of them! I also found Paty Martin, and let me say she is a wonderful person! She helped me a lot during all the thing!

Then they opened the gates and I “ran for my life” and I couldn’t be in front of Guy bc there were a huge camera in front of him, so I decided to be in front of Chris, but since in this stage Guy was really close of him, I was with a good vision of both of them While we were waiting, I saw all the roadies and told her names to Paty and my other friends and everyone was looking at me in a weird way and asking me how did I knew it then Phill came out and I was I called him and waved my flag and he recognized me OMG! It was THE moment, I´ll never forget it!!!

The flag was all signed, and I had some problems with it (some dumbass wrote a big shit about the price of the tickets in the back, but I paited a big equal sign like = and wrote MKE TRADE FAIR) I also wrote "the falg sais: put me in the Roadie #42 blog!" so, I´m hoping that I´m gonna be there" and Phill went a little closer to me and asked me “Do You want to give it to them now?” and I said “Yes, please!” and he took it and smiled and took a picture with it () and went inside.

And when I saw Jonny, I asked him if he saw the flag and he told me that it was beeautiful, thanked me and asked if it was mine and I said yes and he gave me the most beautiful smile evaaaaahhhh Then everyone was freaking even more. I was a celebrity They were all asking me how did I did it and everything… then I told them that Phill told me that they were going to play shiver and there were a lot of screams.

I didn’t liked the first opening act, but I did liked Bat for Lashes. Natasha is awesome, really. Her music is beautiful.

(sorry, the songs arent in set-list order, I just wrote what I remembered) Then it was time. Our balloons were ready (for the happy birthday), and the blue danubio started and I was filming and all I was able to do was screaming “Oh my God, Coldplay is here!” In Violet Hill Jonny had some technical problems with his guitar (I think a string were broken or something) but he didnt stoped smiling . But there wasn’t a big difference in the song… In Clocks I was my camera and my cell went out of battery, but I didn’t mind, because this way I was able to just watch the concert…. Then there was In My place and they were all smiling, like always…. OMG, Jonny and Guy were so happy!!! And they were looking at us and smiling like they thought “how crazy this people are?” And in Glass of water I was bc Guy looked at me twice TWICE! and Chris was really crazy dancing all over and Will were smiling and Jonny was rocking that poor guitar! Another song that was really good was Spanish Rain. They also had technical problems in the C stage, but, having that amount of people singing ole ole ole ole all together was mind-blowing! Then there was the hardest part and Chris was a little sad, he said that he was having some personal problems, but having 60.000 people singing with him was making everything go away he is so sweet! I don’t even need to tell you guys about Viva La Vida, bc we all know that it is a blast. OMG! Having Will and that drums so close, was awesomeness! Poor bell! And Chris had to ask us to stop singing. it was awesome. He also did that on Fix You and The scientist

The way they played shiver…. I think this is the best live version of it I´ve ever heard. I was so overwhelmed with emotions! And that also happened when they played 42 and Death and all his friends. And now I might say that Death and all his friends surprised me. I like the song, but it isn’t one of my faves, but after this concert… OMFG, it is something else live! Chris´s emotion when he plays it, Jonny´s face… I don’t know… But it was one of the high lines of the concert.

During the scientist Chris dedicated the song to someone that I didnt understood, but I think that was his sister, and he was VERY emotional and dark, and sad… But during it Guy was really, REALLY, REALLY looking at me. Paty saw it! I was listening and he was looking at me, I turned to say it to Paty and he was still looking at me and then he smiled and started to play and he was bass-humping, and I couldn’t pay attention to nothing else bc I was so freaking out bc GUY BERRYMAN WAS LOOKING AT ME FORREALZ

And with my favorite song, Life in Technicolor it was over. And I was so tired bc of all the non-sleeping nights and non-eating that I just couldn’t move… But I decided to go before all the craziness bc of the LRLRL, and I took Paty with me and I thought I was gonna die, because It was so full of people, so crowded, but I was able to get my copy and so did Paty and we left. I slept at the bus stop I was really tired! So me and my friend decided to call a taxi, and I slep all the way to our hotel

On Wednesday I woke up late and I missed the bus again and arrived at the hotel @ 1pm and ten min later they went out. I didnt spoke to Chris, because I´ve already did it, and there was a lot of people arround him, so I saw Will and he signed my stuff and when I said thank you he said "Your hoarse " and I said "Yeah, because of you!" and he was laughing so much then I took a pic of him, and another with him, and when I turn to my left, Guy was all hidden behing a car, wishing nobody would see him, but I did and went straight towards him and he signed my Live 2003, my ticket and then, sice I was too overwelmed to do anything, he took the Viva from my hand and said "Can I sign your Viva?" I told him that the concert was great, that I had so much fun and wished good vibes to the other concerts and then I asked Kelly to take a pic of us and he took. And he was all smiling, and I was at his side, so close to his arm, that he just had to change his position to hug me. HUG ME His perfume is so sexy and he is really more beautiful live. REALLY. How is that even possible? Than I saw Jonny, And asked him about the falg, and he said it was beautiful asked if it was mine and thanked me and he gave THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SMILE EVAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH Love you jonny! Than I saw Chris´s father and took a pic of him and he look at me as if I was crazy

So, thats it. A dream coming true!

And a huge part of it was you guys sending me LOTS OF COLDPLAY KARMA. THANK YOU ALL, COLDPLAY AND COLDPLAYERS! I´LL NEVER FORGET IT!

Hey guys, I’m so full of things to do these last days! My classes at university have started Monday and I already have LOTS of things to do, but I just HAD to share this with you. Last Tuesday, March 2nd, I was one among the 65,000 Brazilians on the Coldplay concert here in São Paulo. It was just awesome! I can’t believe! Chris Martin is just the coolest vocalist I have ever seen! If someone can do a great gig – in size and in coolness – it is Coldplay. Amazing songs, great energy and a lovely and congenial vocalist! And the coolest of all: they gave a free album to everybody there! 65,000 albums! That day was Chris Martin’s 33th birthday, and we all sang “Happy Birthday” both in English and Portuguese. And in the middle of the gig, when Will – the drummer – sings his song, he also sang “Happy Birthday”… in Portuguese! So cool! And Chris Martin said that if someone would have ever said to him years ago that he would be celebrating his birthday singing for over 60,000 Brazilians he wouldn’t believe! I’m gonna leave you with some of the best moments of the concert. Brazilians are very loud, as you’ll see. We are Latinos, we can’t help it! The beginning of the concert with Cris saying “Thank you very much. Good Night” in Portuguese: “Muito obrigada. Boa noite”: [2]

Now, what do you think? Are we too noisy?

Hello you all!! Sorry for coming late, but I'm hell tired!! The last five days are among the best of my entire life for sure!! Thank you Coldplay!!!

Sooooo have a lot to tell you about yesterday gig! It all started the day before... I had arrived from Rio and was heading to the hotel in Sao Paulo when I received a phone call... it was a girl from EMI Brazil telling she wanted to take me to a meet ang greet with the band just before the gig! I was all

Actually they were looking for someone to go to Rio's M&G, and they've sent me an email when I was in Buenos Aires... I answered it right after BA's concert, but it was too late since they only check emails in week days. So I missed this M&G. When the EMI lady read my email in Monday she talked to her boss and he said it was ok to call me for SP's M&G

Needless to say that I couldn't sleep that night Sooo I didn't go to queue (would arrive veeeeeeery early in the morning to be on the pit) cause I'd have to leave to meet the boys and would lose my spot sooo it was pointless to do so.

I was joined by another fan who owns a Coldplay community in Orkut, two fans who have won a contest and two girls who had an aunt woking in EMI London and arranged the meeting for them. All others were from the press. Around 15 people. When we entered restricted area I immediately spotted Jackie. I've talked to her in both Buenos Aires and Rio soo she already knew me When she saw me she said: Are you going, seriously??? And she came to ask how I was there if I was from a radio station or what. I told her about the website and she seemed very happy for me The EMI Brazil guy was near us and she told him that I was a massive fan and he said that it was great and he was glad that I was there

We waited and waited and Chris rushed in front of was saying he was coming soon I was all awwwwwwwwww While waiting I saw Bash and said 'hey bash' he immediatelly came to ask how I knew his name, just as it was described in the roadies thread Saw Vicky too!! She's so pretty

When the boys came it was much more like a 'look and greet' than a 'meet and greet' we were not allowed to have anything signed or take pictures with our own cameras. The part I particularly loved the most was when they came all together, VIVA dressed, with a smile on their faces... I was all like aaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwww Then we stayed in line and they came, one by one, to shake our hands! It's incredible how they all can be a lot more prettier when you're face to face After that we all took a group photo with an official photographer... after the first attempt he kept saying to someone move, the one in red (it was Guy!! ¬¬ come on!! He didn't know his name ¬¬) After that we were supposed to leave because another group of journalists would go in, but I was able to have a small chat with Chris against security orders I asked him how was the new song called afterall 'cause he'd named it both Don Quijote and Spanish Rain and we were puzzled. He said it'd be called Spanish Rain probably, because they have another new song called Don Quijote They still don't know what to do with these 2 songs and I was all: Wow 2 songs, that's even better And by then everyone was already pushing me and saying it was over and so on. It was lovely to see that Chris ignored them and kept answering my question in a calm way They give a LRLRL copy to each one of us but I missed mine because I was talking to Chrissy do you think I care??

After that we went back to the concert. As I wouldn't be able to stand on pit with my friends, I decided to stay near the ramp of love with another group of great friends Was able to record a lot of great material from there. Caught some ACE scenes of Chris laying down, I'm sure you're gonna love it! Caught Jonny's butt as well Great videos of Shiver and Spanish Rain from the screen.

Sao Paulo's gig had a lot of tecnical problems. The major was that the sound was too low. Jonny had lots of problems, not sure but guess he had a broken string in Violet Hill and Matt had to help him several times during the gig. Guess somebody released the butterflies in the wrong hour cause I saw some of them during Politik O.o Chris started playing DAAHF and had to stop it, Hoppy came in and told him something... and then Chris started it again.

Apart from that, it was a greeeeeeeeaatt show!! Had so much fun with my friends!! The balloon part was funny and Will's portugues is greaaaaaat!! It was so lovely to hear him singing Happy Bday in portuguese!! When he said 'I'm gonna need your help in this song" I was hey, most people don't know DWNC lyrics, how can Will be asking for help?? And the big surprise came Loveeeeed it!! And hearing Shiver is always a hhhuuuuuge pleasure!!! My favourite CP song of all time!!

Sorry for writing that much!!! I'll upload my videos as soon as possible to share these moments with you!!

Pulemos Vanguart. Bat for Lashes ! after being seduced by Natasha Khan on her show dark, dark and sinister (I loved a lot, she is beautiful and super talented) begins Coldplay (just to remind me shiver) Morumbi stadium packed, everybody screaming until almost euphoric burst the vocal folds (I for example) with red balloons, black and white hands níver named because of Chris. You do not have words to describe the show, which we will be unforgettable, came home with that stage singing the chorus of Viva La Vida "Ooooooooooooo" with the images of those fires and with the memory of Will Champion singing "Happy Birthday" in Portuguese in my head.

I was on the track common, yes, I was part of the crowd shouting "bire Frees, releases vipe!" or "Take the blue plate, take the blue plate!" (inside joke) but tá worth, at least I was in grade. I like everyone got the butterflies of papers that fall, and killed myself to make it onto a CD in the output stage.

In other words the show was FODA and I'm sure the 02 March 2010 will be unforgettable for everyone who was there.

All this was fascinating, I hope you show more fodástico this year and hope that Coldplay back soon.

--

Pulemos Vanguart.

Bem...

Fans complain about the sound quality in the Coldplay show in SP

The sound quality for the Coldplay concert on the evening of Tuesday (2) disappoint the public who went to the Morumbi stadium in Sao Paulo. Many fans of the British band said that the volume remained low throughout the presentation to about 65 thousand people, according to the press. "From the first song, the sound was muffled," says G1 to the financial administrator Venite Diego Sanchez, 19, who paid $ 108 (half price plus tax) for a ticket to the bleachers blue, which is on the top left of the stage. "When Chris Martin spoke to the public, not heard anything. In between songs hiss a lot and we ask you to turn up the sound, but the situation has not changed, "says the fan who came to look for security problems to report, but received no return. "I'm a fan of Colplay many years, watched the show the band at Via Funchal in 2007 and was very good," he recalls. "The impression I got was that Coldplay has no structure to mount a show of this size."

The Coldplay concert in the Morumbi was awaited by his fans that the rain, thanks to prayer than 60 thousand people, there was present the night of Tuesday. Opening the show was divided between the cuiabanos Vanguart and the band Bat for Lashes - Project British singer Natasha Khan, who was applauded even little understood by fans of Coldplay. The audience anxiously awaited the entrance of the band, carrying balloons in their hands red, white and black - colors of the album Viva la Vida - distributed by the organization to commemorate the anniversary of the singer, Chris Martin. The huge Morumbi lights dimmed and the background could be heard the very beginning of the song "Life In Technicolor," which also opens Viva la Vida. Next "Violet Hill" has come to put more pile in public shouting wildly, beyond the sound the instruments and the voice of the talented musicians banda.O hit "Clocks" also could not stay out of the setlist the band and was applauded by the public. Then it was time to explore and walk the two walkways that hugged the lane vip. Martin did it very well, running back and forth and greeting the fans huddled at his feet. "Thank you all," he replied with a gringo accent, after receiving a burst of balloons in celebration of its 33 years. "Yellow", another with the band, gained prominence when several yellow balls invaded the pitch at the Morumbi and were admitted to a large screen high definition. The songs "Glass of Water" and "42" were presented to the public with the characteristic touch of Coldplay: piano.Embalando the couples in love, lonely piano and Martin gave the beginning of the light show. The grandstand has suffered from poor sound quality and tried to claim. It was in vain. Martin came to question "how is up there?", But did not understand the message. "Fix You" was a show parte. public was so excited he rehearsed a chorus worthy of interruption of Coldplay singer to pronounce three letters, "WOW". Packaged by the turn of the music, a rain of fireworks came out from behind the stage right into the sky of Sao Paulo. "Strawberry Swing", Martin danced, asked the support of mobile lights and walked with the rest of the band to the edge of a catwalk. "Viva la Vida" music that many people hoped would open the show of the tour, became a huge chorus of the band and independent, no doubt, was chilling. The band did not stop with the surprises. The British foursome walked to the boundary of the runway and the runway vip common and without the public noticing, went on a small stage and began an exciting version of "Shiver". A novel version of "Don Quixote" followed the country style and drew laughs from the audience. At the end of the show, "Lovers in Japan", provided the public a spectacle, with a rain of paper butterflies, mixed with light guns, causing an effect lysergic and beautiful to the eye. The leaves were perfect for "Death and All His Friends" and on for the encore of "The Scientist". At the end of the show, Chris Martin also announced that fans would go home, for free, a copy of the album live LeftRightLeftRightLeft - available for almost a year for free download, a treat for anyone put default. A treat to the eyes and ears, Coldplay left in memory of who was present an excerpt from one of his song "Such a perfect day" - Strawberry Swing.

After some time away from the big musical shows, almost an oath of allegiance to my favorite band - Pearl Jam - decided I should watch the show from Coldplay, the English group have always admired. I surrender and I do not regret, almost two-hour show to hear songs from the main group and almost the last part of the album Viva La Vida. For some time I realize that the proper directory and the mega structure is part of a technical device that sensitizes various sense of the subject, as a visual spectacle becomes as important as a powerful sound and well equalized. Perhaps these requirements have not been well met by the opening bands. Regarding Vanguart describe little or nothing, as not got no time to accompany the presentation of cuiabanos. But a picture intrigued me, Natasha Khan, "cover" of Björk and singer of Bat for Lashes. Difficult to define and influence, proximity to Natasha with the Icelandic singer. Musically and physically Natasha Khan embarked on a style reign sovereign Björk, perhaps the similarity between the vocal tones is the most significant reason of the inevitable comparison. As hardly anyone goes to a show to be a fan of the opening act, the production of Natasha Khan and band out of the cooler that has accompanied, at least in the sector in which it was. The period between a band and another is long, especially when you expect one of the main attractions of the night. The Coldplay came a few minutes after the prediction, nothing to disturb the atmosphere of the night. With his usual musical introduction of the tour they played Life in Techicolor and Violet Hill to fall in the first blast of the night. The crack Clocks, In My Place Yellow and shook the public, culminating in a disorganized Happy Birthday to Chris Martin, birthday night. Unlike the intimate shows made for "miserable" in the last 10,000 people passing through Via Funchal, Coldplay, confirming the current status of Mega Banda Pop, gradually managed to fill most of space for spectators at the Morumbi. The mix of new songs with old hits continued with 42 and Fix You. The highlight of the night may have been to Viva La Vida and her endless "Oh Oh Oh" sung in chorus by the audience. At the end of some songs Chris Martin was keen to express their gratitude with words in Portuguese. In conclusion, the Bis with The Scientist, one of the major successes of the band. The Feedback particular points - the output "Oh Oh Oh" was still sung by many who left the stadium. The Coldplay changed much since his last visit to Brazil, with the disc A Rush of Blood to the Head came to stardom with X & Y confirmed that the band was able to keep the music scene. But Viva La Vida tour and his place among the major Coldplay Pop icons, a position that has advantages and disadvantages. If the question was - would the band Coldplay an icon of mass culture? The final confirmation came yesterday in front of 60 thousand people. Fireworks! Desktop Picados! Lasers! Viva La Musica!

Coldplay: British quartet drew 65 thousand people at the Morumbi ...

The gray weather heralded a night of rain in Sao Paulo. In the Morumbi stadium, the British quartet Coldplay came to play Singing in the Rain (singing in the rain) on the scale of his tour of São Paulo Viva La Vida, in which the band squandered sympathy and thrilled the audience.

But by the evening of Tuesday (2), no one got wet and what we saw was a flurry of butterflies, part of a colorful spectacle that had a right to congratulate you for the singer Chris Martin, now 33. After the instrumental version of Life of Technicolor, the show started with Violet Hill. The song featured on the album that gave its name to the tour (actually, Viva la Vida Or Death And All His Friends), but there were times in the drawer of the band, since it was formed early in the group, formed in 1997 by colleagues University College of London.

With the screen name inspired by the Mexican Frida Kahlo and made the cover of the famous nineteenth-century painting of Eugène Delacroix depicting the French Revolution, the latest CD is, according to some critics, more mature version of the group, which is complete with Guy Berryman on bass , Jonny Buckland on Guittarra and Will Champion on drums.

One of the stars of the show in São Paulo was the song Yellow, hit the first album, Parachutes, Coldplay who made known in 2000. Large yellow balloons walked by on the public, who seemed to know by heart the lyrics of much of the repertoire of the show, with songs from four albums.

One of the highlights of the concert tour was the performative to the sound of the quartet's flagship Singing in the Rain. Taking the public by surprise, they walked to a small stage in the audience to sing the acoustic version of Shiver. Buckland then sang Happy Birthday in Portuguese, Chris Martin. The singer also walked with lessons here: to thank said "thank you, guys", to ask for more public participation said: "Please!" - Who failed to teach you something beyond the mere translation of British formality, a "let's go!" or something.

Martin said there is nothing better than to celebrate his birthday with 60 thousand Brazilians. Missed by little: the office of Time For Fun 65 thousand tickets sold. Another high point was the execution in psychedelic version of God Put a Smile Upon Your Face, but the rain of colorful butterflies at the end.

Well-behaved boys and politically correct, the members of Coldpay clash of the old stereotype of bad boy rock bands. The group is activist NGOs such as Amnesty International. The band has also refused offers millions for commercial use of their songs in advertising. The money seems to make no lack: they have sold over 50 million CDs

After the well spoken debut Parachutes (2000), success was inevitable in the second album, A Rush of Blood To The Head (2002). A beautiful insight into the music that gave name to this album was accompanied by highly successful hits as In My Place, Clocks and the ballad The Scientist. The trilogy was completed with X & Y (2004).

Then came Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends. Unlike those who emphasize the maturity of the CD, some say that they were more boring. Judging by the scale of São Paulo tour, can be said to remain popular - every pause in the show "ô ô ô ôô" the chorus reappeared pulled by the public. The quartet seems to have enjoyed the excitement.

Errou por pouco: as bilheterias da Time For Fun venderam 65 mil ingressos.

In My Place, Clocks ea balada The Scientist. A trilogia ficou completa com X & Y (2004).

Aí veio Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends.

Media Reviews

Review: Chris Martin electric

The Chris Martin of the stages is not the Chris Martin that we are accustomed it see thereabouts. The leader of the Coldplay, that is going to maintain the withdrawn and quiet pose faced with the press, was specially inspired during the presentation of the group in this Tuesday, 2, in the stadium of the Morumbi, in São Paulo. Not alone by the constant one smile during the barely two hours of show, but by his euphoria on top of the stage. Amid melancholy music, a constant one in the repertoire of the band, the endless number jumps and awkward turns of the vocalist helped to encourage the of São Paulo public.

Beyond the enthusiasm of Chris Martin, another highlight are the technical apparatuses of this tour. The night counted on an intense lighting effects, in perfect tuning with the slams of the battery or the chords of the guitar. The bundles of light changed constantly from color, according to intensity of the song and the apex of the refrains, and reflected in the five gigantic balls hung in the roof of the stage.

But neither the joy of the leader, neither the beauty of the stage were capable of disguise the short sound of the boxes, problem that reigned during good part of the presentation. The portion of the 65 thousand persons (despite of the number informed by the advisory board of press of the event, the impression, half hour before of the beginning of the show, is of that there was well less people) that was in the bleachers it arrived boos and squeak for that the technicians increased the volume.

The spectacle

Contradicting the British origin, the group delayed 17 minutes for begin the presentation, marked for 21h30, after the shows of opening of the Vanguart and of the English Bat Will Go Lashes. To the sound of the waltz "THE Danube Blue", of Johann Strauss, Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland (guitar), Guy Berryman (short) and Will Champion (battery) appeared in the environment of the dark one, lightened barely by the canes of fires that held. Shortly afterwards, they amended to instrumental "Life in Technicolor", of the Alive album Her Life or Death and All his Friends (2008). Buckland suffered with a problem in the guitar, that was repaired soon in the first minute of presentation. The fault, however, bad was perceived by the public, euphoric for hear the hits of the English band.

The group followed with them expected "Violet Hill", "Clocks" and "In My Place". Right away, the fans that held bladders since the beginning of the night explode the balloons and tried to haul a failed "Congratulations to you" for Chris Martin, that completed 33 years in this Tuesday.

During "Yellow", the panel located in the bottom of the stage, stamping an image of the art of Cheer her Life, gave time to a big screen. To plateia, that sung in unison the refrain of one of the more famous song of the Coldplay, if held tight for try to touch in balls that were played in the trail. "That was fantastic", said Martin in reference to the vocal power of the thousands of persons to his front, in one of the several times that interacted with the Brazilians.

In the tappet of melancholy songs, "Fix You" was one of the most exciting. Martin, sat down to the piano, asked for the public accompany-him - in the chorus of "lights will guide you home", the lights of the stadium lit, preceding a red strategem fires blast, behind the stage, to the end of the streak.

In "God Put to Smile Upon Your Face", the band was dislocated for the tip of the left footbridge (healthy two, that advance of the main stage in direction to the public of the tight trail vip). Champion, that in that moment touched an electronic battery, played the baquetas for the public. The three members left, while Martin continou to the piano. "Did not it have better skill of commemorate the anniversary than hear 60 thousand Brazilians", affirmed the vocalist amending "The Hardest Part".

It introduced during all the show by the public, that repeated tirelessly the sure-fire one "oooh ooh", "Cheer Her Life" broke completely the serene climate of the last music. Martin was played in the ground, apparently excited upon hearing the entire stadium singing one of its compositions. After some minutes puied to bed, he laughed and raised, giving somersaults for backwards, showing that not, the pile still had not finished.

In the half of the show, to the sound of the classical one "Singin 'in the Rain ", the quartet was for a small stage, more intimista, located between the area vip and the common trail. Harmonica and semicircle gave an acoustic touch to the presentation. There, they touched "Shiver", "Death Will Never Conquer" - in the voice of Champion, while Martin showed their ability with the harmonica - and "Don Quixote". In that moment, the drummer, here to the double bass, finally hauled the so expected "Congratulations to you" - in Portuguese - and, right away, gave an embrace in the vocalist.

The point highly of the presentation happened in "Lovers in Japan", when a paper colorings butterflies rain was hurled by cannons spreaded in some points of the stadium. In the stage, was possible see Martin dance with an umbrella nipônico amid the crowd of butterflies, concocted in crêpe, fluorine and a sort of paper laminated.

Present for the fans

After "Death and All his Friends", the band produced to go although, but come back for the encore. Before of it touch "The Scientist", in one of the most beautiful moments of the night, Martin revealed that the quartet had a present for who watched to the show: a special album with nine music to the alive one, all of the repertoire of the tour of Cheer Her Life. The disks, that stamp a colorful butterfly in the layer, were distributed to the end of the presentation. Who did not see the members of staff delivering the CDs, amid the mad rush of the crowd, stayed without the present.

The group said good-bye of the capital native of São Paulo with "Life in Technolocor II". Martin thanked the Brazilian reception and finalized: "Everybody love Brazil and now we know the reason". While the quartet withdrew of the stage, fires of strategem marked the end of that stay of the Coldplay in Brazil.

The 100 minutes of spectacle showed a more powerful band than the shy quartet that was presented for a lower public to 10 thousand persons in 2007, in the Road Funchal, in São Paulo. Who found that would go to find a cold English band, if astonished with the performance commanded by a vocalist that was revealed extremely charismatic and intimate of the stages and of the public - worthy characteristics whose knows do music pop truthfully.
