hey, I just woke up ... you can believe me that the concert was awesome!!!!!

I made it to the first row (Guy's side). I have some videos (sound is horrible but I think there is sth too see). And some photos as well. But the thing is that I was using my phone so they are far from being quality!

Ohh and the atmosphere was brilliant!!!

I have to do sth now with my burns on my head and hands ... then I'll upload all the stuff on the net and try to write a review.

As I said before the yesterday’s concert really was fantastic. But from the beginning.

My friends and I arrived at Udine at around 9 am. There were quite few people already queuing. We then sat and waited and waited and waited. I never find waiting difficult but this time … well it was so hot, too hot. I didn’t want to drink too much cause I was afraid that during the concert I’ll have to go to the loo. I became slightly depressed but I kept saying to myself that after the concert I won’t even remember that part. Then around 3pm we could hear White Lies doing the sound check and I got in the better mood. Then around 4pm the gates opened. When I entered the stadium I was standing on the top of the seating area. I was so confused but then saw that I have to run down the stairs and around lots of barriers … I got their, few people were already there …I could stand in the front row in front of Chris but there was place just for one person and I didn’t want to be separated from my friends so I went more to the right (my point of the view). Honestly I was a bit disappointed but I had a great view there as well

Around 7 pm Ministri started playing. They were an Italian indie rock band. My favourite type of music is indie rock so I liked them. I only didn’t like the part that they were singing in Italian (well I only like English lyrics). Nice one anyway! Then White Lies came on the stage. I completely adore them. They definitely warmed me up While I was singing and dancing along some people around me were giving me strange looks :S What a supporting band! Ooh and before their performance Miller came on stage he was adjusting some sort of camera I think And I could see behind some curtains … and there was Arlene going around.

And then … woooooo The moment we were waiting for. Well The usual 3 songs first to warm up the crowd and then Life in Technicolor … I believe you’ve heard that Italian fans were organizing choreography with balloons and crowns. We were all waving with balloons before guys came on stage. And then they came and I think that they completely loved it. Maybe it was just me but I saw how they were all laughing (in a good way) and rocking the LiT.

Then they played Violet Hill and people were singing along like crazy. Behind me there were three people who were really upset. They didn’t like it that others were jumping, screaming … weird! Then they asked securities if they can get them out- I was happy when they left cause then the real party started

There setlist didn’t bring anything new so Clocks followed. I fell in love with Coldplay back then when I first heard that song. So, hearing it live … I have teary eyes even now. AMAZING

I’m not sure but I think that after Clocks Chris talked a bit. I can’t speak Italian, so somebody else will have to tell what he said. Well he was saying “grazia mille” (hope spelling is correct) a lot- these were the only words I could understand.

I'll make things short now since there have been a lot of great reviews!

Before the concert I read somewhere on the net that Gwyneth will be attending that concert as well. I thought that was a bit ... well a thing that's not going to happen. But now I think she might be there. After they had played Fix You Chris put his hand on his heart and pointed to the stand where I think VIPs were. And he also pointed there after Strawberry swing.

... the best song besides Clocks was Politik for me. They played it really "hard". I also enjoyed Lovers in Japan- I was standing in front of the thing where butterflies were coming out, I was basically attacked by them

Oh and I think that Guy was really in a good mood yesterday. He kept smiling and posing for people who were taking photos of him

As if I weren't pleased at the concert completely I was also given the set list which made the evening perfect. I was trying to make an eye contact with any roadie but they were so busy. Then I waved to someone and he only waved back. But then somebody heard my screaming about set list ... first he showed that he folded it and that it's not in the best condition. But I made it clear that I don't really mind that so he threw it at me

Now I'll upload some photos and maybe a video- but they really aren't of good quality.

A truly wonderful show! I have plenty of pics and audio of the whole concert that I can upload when I get back to the states. Much thanks for the amazing choreography!!! They used the SoS video during another song (which I have video of, Curva Nord, butstill video). Loving the Coldplay love! I'll be at their next show on the east coast no matter what!

Hello world, slept only 4 hours tonight and am at work right now so I cannot post too much

I will try to be more detailed this evening when I'll be back home. It was a great gig (yeah ok I'm not really obejctive, I'm not able with them), being in the front rows is the way to go at Coldplay gigs. Loved their expression when they entered, haven't seen any video of life in technicolor yet but they showed the sea of crowns and balloons on the big videowall and it looked amazing Chris seemed really happy but tired at the same time and said he had a sore throat (can't remember when exactly sorry), he should really just take his time and fully recover, cause I have a feeling it's the same problem that made them cancel Tampa

aaanyway I managed to get hold of a setlist from the same roadie who gave it me in Dublin last year and to whom I said to have one ready for me in Wembley

still pissed for our gate opened minutes after the other

pics to follow, some great ones for the Jonny lovers as for the first time ever in 12 gigs I was on his side of the stage...it will probably happen again in other 12 gigs

@jeff: glad you had a great time

anyway, Chris never said anything about how good Italians are to make love, but how good we are to "make a fuck of a lot of noise" during this nice song before Will sung Death Will Never Conquer.

Here's the lyrics: When the sun has gone down and there's no more light When you're playing in Udine on a Monday night Oh you've got to play for those girls and boys Well I know Italians make a fuck of a lot of noise (can't understand here)...there's one more rhyme Can you please make some noise if you're having a good time Oh and just to give you an extra thrill Oh give a whoo whoo for our drummer Will

hey! well.. just a few words for the amazing show of yesterday night well.. the stadium was full of people and you could see italian and not fans waiting for them with a lot of balloons! Chris was sooo cute when he tried to speak in italian i think when they played Viva La Vida every single person in that stadium was singing and dancing with Chris! such a beautiful moment! im sorry for the random comments but im still a bit shocked!! oh, and last thing.. i saw Guy, Will (twice) and Phil going in and out the backstage

well.. i'll try to tell what happened better we went in the stadium when the gate opened, so at 4 pm.. i didnt saw Ministri and a part of White Lies perfomance cause i had found a place where i could see the entrance of the backstage there were big black cars, trucks and people of security.. oooh so my sister and i stayed there for about 3 hours i think! at the beginning we didnt really think we could see someone but we had to spend our time in some way so we stayed! suddenly we saw one of those black cars moving and Will was gettin in!! omg!! i couldnt believe it!! i was !!! i was almost crying!! then immediately the car went out.. i dont know where it went then i saw Phil!!! at the beginning when i saw him i wasnt sure he was Phil! cause he turned one's back on us, but then i recognised him!!! again i was he was talking on the cell phone.. hehe then the black car came back and Will went it the back stage.. the last i saw was Guy!!!!!!!!! another black car reached the entrance and he went out the car with Arlene ( sorry im so jealous)and another blonde woman we stayed there for another hour i think, hoping to see Chris and Jonny but nothing maybe they were already inside

i made some videos but they're not good.. maybe i'll try yo upload some later

ps: sorry if i made mistakes but im still excited if i think of yesterday!!

Hi! I'm just back from Udine! It was a great gig! I'll try to write more later ...

I'm writing because I'm happily suprised to see this viedeo: I was closed to the stage-B ... the crown that Chris take in this video was mine ( better .... I did it, but it was my brother that throw it to him ... ) - Is obviouse but I've to say it again: Chris is alwasy very, very kind!

Our coreographies (ColdplayItalia and ColdplayZone) were nice enought ...

First impression about the concert: it was a little bit "standard", but I love Coldplay concerts a lot, anyway!!! Some pics as soon as I can!

So my whole Coldplay adventure began on Sunday when I came to Rijeka (its a city from where my bus was leaving to Udine). I could sleep at all that night, too Anyway at 1pm on beautiful Monday we started what later became the best day of my life... We came to Udine around 4.20pm and as I said few times before that was too late. When we got in line there where 1000 people in front of us. While we waited this journalist came to me and asked if I can give him an interview for some Italian radio station. I was in such a great mood that I gave an interview (I felt like I was someone important ) We got to the gate 20 min later. Got in and rush down on the field but there were already so many people so NO FRONT (or anything close) ROW!!!! The side where Guy stands was in the shadow so it was full! So we end up on the Jonny's side of the stage. We were in lets say 7th row. But when people stood up we were 3rd row and I was so crazy... It was too much for me I shook so much (you know how it is). Ministri some Italian band was first. Did not like them... Then White Lies came out. They were pretty good but there was something wrong with their mics so there was a lot of unwanted noise. They were done and now it was 40minutes or so and THEY WILL BE OUT!!!! Magnificent started I was out of the place. The Jay-Z's song (dont know its name). And the dancing roadie came out and dance on that part of the stage that was near us. He was really good. Ooh yeah before all that that black thingy that falls down when they come out, FELL before they came. But never mind that. And than it started. And I was so crazy excited. I finally realized that Im on their concert after sooo much waiting!!!!!!!! I wont go trough the whole set list. But Chris and Jonny were soooo near us... Chris danced on our part of the stage during Fix You and In my place (I think. I was way to excited to remember everything) and Viva La Vida and Lover in Japan with that umbrella. During The Hardest Part he started to play and then stopped and said that that was it. We all laughed! On Death and all his friends he messed up lyrics. During Lovers in Japan the wind blew and all the butterflies went to the other side and I didnt catch any. But that was not my end with butterflies I had a bag just for them and I would not leave empty handed. B stage was really far from us so we watched on the screen. Will had some kind of hat . But he was really cute. In the end Guy came to our part of the stage I screamed so much and that was were my voice finally broke. They came back to encore and when The Escapist started that was it. I knew it that was the end, the end of the best night of my life. Back to butterflies. I pushed my way to the frot and asked the nice security guy to put few butterflies into my bag so he did. And I have lots and lots of them . I got my LRLRL cd. I bought Life in technicolor t-shirt. And it was great. I was so perfect. And as someone form C&C&friends thread once told me that when you see them live your love to them grows to a whole new level and my really really did. I cant believe it but it did.

Sorry if its too big, but this was my day and I wanted to share it with you.

Pics later...

Hello, I'm back after few hours riding back and forth I still have energy for few more concerts

first of all, did you guys notice that on setlist is song "till kingdom come" but they played green eyes? o.O I'm glad that they changed it cuz green eyes is my fav song!

OK, let's go with review, it wont be great as yours, but i'll try.

months in advance I knew that I wanted to go back to their concert, especially when I enjoyed last year in Budapest. I secured agreement with the Agency (ticket + transport) and expecting for 31th july. Unfortunately, as soon as we boarded the bus, we got a notice that we have tickets for the bleachers (i dont know right word). all the way, we discussed how to get down there, but there was no option. We arrived in Udine at 2pm and 4 hours are used for sightseeing, lunch and after all shopping in the front of stadium where I had no luck. T-shirt is very much the wrong date which irritated me (did you notice for 2008 and earlier dates). I bought a shirt with long sleeves, but the male model that I will not wear often, but I have a memory, and a bag from official merchandise. We entered the stadium just as white lies finished with last two song and i was disappointed when we saw our position. even though we were on the right panel of the stage (and in the middle), imagine heart pain when you see all those fans who are already down, especially in the fan pit area. I didnt want to look on the internet for recordings or photos for full surprise. you have no idea how much I enjoyed when I heard Magnificent introduction to the concert. I really like U2 and that song is very much affected! as soon as they come out with mini fireworks (i dont know right word either), balloons have come to the fore and violet hill began. I was thrilled! so I wanted to jump but I was on the scale because I didnt want to sit like 90% of the audience around me. That terribly depressed me because I wanted to be down with you and with you singing and jumping. They were pretty quite and I didnt want to sing out loud cuz I just do not sing well) green eyes is one of my favorite songs and I was totally thrilled when I heard it live! then butterflies on lovers in japan, even I saw it, this is great to see from another perspective (we took them to the road on the return). I did not expect fireworks and it is totally complete the entire concert. I eventually managed to get the free CD, we have raised hands in the air, we looked like zombies

sorry for english, i used google translate (for less mistakes)... pics later

On the evening of 31 August 2009, if you had been driving a nocturnal animal crossing over the Friuli stadium in Udine, was a nightmare: lights, reflectors, confetti, balloons, fireworks, waterfalls and of course note melodic rock epic post -radioheadesco, which quite often are added in chorus the voices of the entire stadium.

Uno dei momenti del concerto. One of the highlights of the concert. For the only Italian date of their current tour, Coldplay have given a great good show and a live CD released a free concert at the end, just to say "given" in the true sense of the word. They opened the concert Italians and the English Ministers White Lies, an aperitif that indie effectively perform its task while the stands are riempioni, the warm light of last August fades into a cool evening, lit by the flashes of cameras and mobile phones.

After the opening concert, the wait is mistaken inflating balloons colored (an initiative of the Italian fanclub Coldplay, born on the internet) ready to be tossed in the air and waved at the stage of Chris Martin and co. And the entrance is to the tune of Blue Danube by Strauss, for some reason, and continues with "Life in technicolor, already introduced last acclaimed album Viva la vida; nostrano album that the public has greatly appreciated, judging by the entire stadium feet to sing the songs with a transport from the national anthem. Who, for taking good arrows Noel Gallagher, was expecting an overdose of special effects, music playback and a sermon on the semi-third world style U2, you will have to change my mind at the speed of a butterfly-shaped confetti rained on the facts parterre during the concert: these four British virtuoso performance full of good intentions, Martin despite fatigue and sore throat they apologize profusely with the audience, sings, throws himself on the ground, running from one end of the stage, apologizes with the public to speak in English ( "It's very rude," he says) and try a few words in Italian not too mangled, some fans summarizes his stage presence nell'epiteto "Molleggiato golden curls, dressed in rags' (the latter alludes to the split-nineteenth-century fake, really full of colored pieces, worn by members of the group during the tour).

Uno dei palchetti secondari. One of the side boxes. For its part, the spacious stage sets and allows a play of light effect, but without exceeding his shining and the establishment of boxes in the audience and the occasion of the songs and the finale Fix You "The Escapist, sage fireworks. Ad accompagnare ogni pezzo, scroscianti, meritati applausi. To accompany each piece, thunderous, well-deserved applause.
