Chinese Sleep Chant
From WikiColdplay
Chinese Sleep Chant is a song on Coldplay's fourth album, Viva la Vida Or Death And All His Friends. The song is opens with a jagged guitar riff, quickly settling into a propulsive dance-track loop with low-mixed, angelic vocals. The vocals and lyrics are deliberately incomprehensible, not even being included in the lyric sheet for the Japanese album version or the VLV Tour Programme, although many attempts have been made by Coldplay fans at deciphering them.
The band wrote the song while under hypnosis.
On the album, Chinese Sleep Chant is a hidden, unlisted song that comes after "Yes", which it shares track #6 on the album with. Despite this, it is a key part of the Viva La Vida Tour's setlist and has been performed at every concert since the tour began.
