With their gigantic international success, the British Band Coldplay steps into the footsteps of the legendary Beatles. The single "Speed Of Sound" from the current album "X & Y" is the first British release since 1968, which has registered a new entry into the American Top Ten! Even lead singer Chris Martin, normally modeast, calls the third and newest album the best of all time. Already with their two earlier albums, Coldplay have attained numerous prizes and honors, and inspired an enormous fan base. This richly illustrated book gives an idea of the impressive band history and their way way to success.

I haven't read the book in a while but I can remember it being very detailed about their journey to fame. I mainly focuses on Chris though, but does give you a little memoir on each member. The book outlines the ups and downs of the bands time and had little facts of info I wouldn't have ever known. Very good book. 8/10
