It was mentioned once in a preliminary list of album songs on Prospekt's journal, on 5th September 2007. However it was left off the album and hadn't been heard of until 1st May 2009 when it was announced that it would be a standalone track available as a download only, and the title of a 2009 live album featuring tracks taken from the Viva La Vida Tour.
On May 15th 2009, LeftRightLeftRightLeft will be made available as a free download at Coldplay.com, for all fans (and for the same time period).
