Leftrightleftrightleft was a song written during sessions for Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends. It was mentioned once in a preliminary list of album songs on Prospekt's journal, on 5th September 2007, but did not make it onto the album and is so far unreleased.
In a coldplay.com inteview on May 21st 2009, Chris Martin commented that the song exists in eight different forms, all entirely unfinished. Will Champion is also known to dislike the song. Chris confirmed that the band have no plans to finish or release the song in any form in the future.
It was also revealed that the song's title was the original album title for Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends. It was eventually re-used for their 2009 live album.
