Now My Feet Won't Touch The Ground
From WikiColdplay
Now My Feet Won't Touch The Ground is a song written during sessions for Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends, but didn't make the final cut of the album.
It was released later as the closing track on the Prospekt's March EP. It links to the opening track Life In Technicolor II through its lyrics, just as Life in Technicolor I links to The Escapist through its music. The title is the key part of Life In Technicolor's chorus.
It is also mentioned in the lyrics to Strawberry Swing, another song written during the same session. However, the two songs appear to be unrelated.
The title also bears a resemblance to early Coldplay B-side No More Keeping My Feet On The Ground.

Lyrics
Let me go boys, let me go Push my boat from the highest cliff to the sea below Rocks are waiting boys, if rocks await Swoop down from the sky and catch me like a bird of prey Now my feet won't touch the ground Now my head won't stop You wait a lifetime to be found Now my feet won't touch the ground Singing, now my feet won't touch the ground Now my head won't stop You wait a lifetime to be found Now my feet won't touch the ground Now my feet won't touch the ground...
